Rising above the Fire, Surviving an Officer Involved Shooting and PTSD
On October 26, 2010 Officer Sanow was ambushed and shot in the chest while checking on a house fire that was set on purpose.  A second bullet also shot and damaged his radio.

The learning goal of this course is to allow licensed peace officer’s to become more aware of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD.  It also deals with the proper way to intervene into the life of a fellow officer who might be suffering from PTSD.
